Terms of Service

Last updated: February 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Yumi, including our website, dashboard, APIs, custom domains, and media hosting services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). You are responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding API keys.

2. Content and acceptable use

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant Yumi a limited license to host, process, and deliver your content for the purpose of providing the Service. You may not upload or distribute content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property, contains malware, is exploitative, or violates the rights of others. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

You must follow our Community Guidelines for all uploads, links, metadata, and domain content. Guideline violations are a Terms violation and may result in moderation action.

3. Public links and sharing

Public files are accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for the visibility settings you choose and for the distribution of your links. We are not responsible for third-party access to public links you share.

4. Plans, billing, and refunds

Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled. Billing is handled by our payment processor. You are responsible for applicable taxes. We may change pricing or plan limits with notice. Refunds are provided only when required by law or at our sole discretion.

5. Custom domains and DNS

If you connect a custom domain, you confirm you control it and will maintain DNS settings required for verification and SSL. We may pause or disconnect domains that fail verification, violate these Terms, or are associated with abuse.

Domain provisioning and hosting for custom domains is handled through Vercel. By connecting a custom domain, you authorize Yumi (via Vercel) to manage domain configuration, verification, and SSL setup on your behalf. We may update, move, or disconnect domains through Vercel if required for security, compliance, abuse prevention, or service reliability.

6. Account types (personal vs business)

Personal accounts are for individual, non-business use. You may not use a personal account for business, commercial, or client media hosting. If you need business use, you must apply for a business account at /business.

If you use a business account, you grant Yumi permission to display your business name, logo, and related branding on our website and marketing materials as a customer, unless you request removal in writing.

7. API usage

You may use the API only for lawful purposes and within plan limits. We may rate limit, suspend, or revoke API access to protect the Service or prevent abuse.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided "as is" without warranties. We may modify or discontinue features, and we are not liable for interruptions or data loss to the extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or fail to pay for paid services. Upon termination, you are responsible for retrieving your data before deletion.

10. Discretionary enforcement rights

Yumi may investigate, restrict, suspend, terminate, remove content, disable domains, or limit features at any time, with or without notice, when we reasonably believe it is necessary for safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention, platform integrity, or business risk management.

11. Safety review and automated moderation

To protect users and the platform, Yumi may use automated systems, including machine learning and AI-assisted classifiers, to detect policy-violating uploads, suspicious behavior, and abuse patterns.

You authorize Yumi staff and moderation systems to review file metadata and, when needed for policy enforcement, review file content to investigate reports, prevent abuse, and maintain platform safety.

12. Reporting and takedowns

If you believe content on Yumi infringes your rights or violates the law, contact us at hello@yumi.onl with sufficient detail to investigate. We review reports and may remove content or restrict accounts.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yumi is not liable for indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.

14. Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the Service or by email.

15. Ownership and contact

Yumi is owned and managed by Evercore Corporation, a Florida corporation. Questions about these Terms? Email us at hello@yumi.onl.
